We are pleased to share Azad Foundation’s Annual Report 2024–25, which captures a year of women and girls from marginalised communities confidently asserting their rights at homes, communities, public spaces and workplaces, with men and boys standing beside them as allies in their journeys.

This study critically examines the NEP 2020 to assess the scope of incorporating non-traditional skill education in the broader framework of transformative education for women and girls.

To better understand the workplace environment and support the needs of women bus drivers, Azad initiated a research focused on assessing Delhi Transport Corporation’s (DTC) facilities for women drivers. This research highlights the need for more gender-inclusive infrastructure within depots.

Renewal of Registration under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act

This Strategic Plan outlines Azad’s roadmap for 2021 to 2026, focusing on expanding our impact, enhancing community engagement, and fostering gender-just skill education amidst global challenges.

This year, we strengthened our commitment to transforming lives through gender-just skill education (GJSE), empowering women with driving licenses, green transportation jobs, and policy engagement, while building vital partnerships for change.

This document presents Azad Foundation’s recommendations for the Draft National Policy for Women 2016, emphasizing the need for a focused approach on Non-Traditional Livelihoods (NTL) for women, holistic skill development, and proactive government intervention to create inclusive and equitable opportunities in the labor market.

The Year Book chronicles the success stories of 315 Women with Wheels trainees who overcame struggles and achieved permanent driving licenses through Azad’s six training centers in 2019-20.

This yearbook consists of the success stories of our trainees who have achieved a Permanent driving license (PL) in the year 2020-21, both for 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler.
